One of SunGift’s primary beliefs is that renewable energy is a long-term investment – not just another short-term fix.  That’s why we’re once again supporting Tedx Exeter, an event that is devoted to ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’.

Taking the long view’ to support innovation

The theme of this year’s event is ‘taking the long view’ and the myriad of speakers will explore how the past has shaped the world we live in, how it has influenced the way we live now, and how it has helped form the way we innovate. At SunGift we believe this stand against ‘short-termism’ is something worth supporting.

Among the speakers at this year’s event on 24 April will be Jenny Sealey, co-director of the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games, and Rachel McKendry, Professor at the London Centre of Nanotechnology. And the event is so poular that when tickets went on sale on 1 December they were sold out in just two hours.

Yesterday was the launch event at Southernhay House, which SunGift managing director Gabriel Wondrausch spoke at, and we had some great feedback from the Tedx Exeter team.  “It was very important to us to have SunGift Solar there as one of our longest sponsors and partners,” said Jhenna Mortimer from Tedx Exeter’s sponsorship team.  “Thank you Gabriel for speaking and putting into words the great network opportunities that being part of TEDx Exeter can offer.”

We’ll keep you updated over the next couple of months with information on some of the exceptional speakers in the event’s line-up.
