SunGift staff will be amongst the first in the UK to undergo technical training on the Tesla Powerwall and Powerpack battery storage systems.

The system is one of the world’s most talked-about energy storage technologies, and looks set to be a big catalyst in how we think about and use the energy we generate for our homes and businesses.

Click here if you would like advice from a SunGift expert to see if it is the right technology for you.

Once SunGift staff are up-to-speed we hope to be one of the first installer in the UK to roll-out the technology into homes and businesses, which means SunGift customers will once again have access to most cutting edge technology.

The Tesla Powerwall isn’t just ‘a new piece of technology’ though – it’s one of a new generation of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that stores the solar electricity you generate for future consumption and backup power.

Tesla Powerwall For domestic use

Initially available in 10 kWh and 7kWh models, the Powerwall will be sufficient to power many homes during the evening using the electricity generated by solar panels during the day.

Tesla Powerpack for commercial use

For businesses and other organisations, the Tesla Powerpack is a much bigger unit that has 100 kWh of storage. It’s hoped that Tesla will continue to increase the capacity of these batteries.
