This month Gabriel has been out and about at various events. One particularly interesting event that he spoke at in Exeter was the launch of The Element in the Room – a book of poems inspired by renewable energy.
Written and performed by Matt Harvey, the host of Radio 4’s Wondermentalist programme, the evening was an excellent opportunity to promote renewable energy, dispel some of the myths, take a humorous look at some of the industry’s issues, and watch a ‘poetry slam’ where eight poets battled it out in front of the live audience.
The evening was also a chance for the audience to hear real-life experiences from Gabriel about how support for renewable energy is picking up pace and becoming the norm for more and more people.
