The SunGift team is thrilled to learn that the company has been shortlisted in both categories we entered in the Western Morning News Business Awards 2021.

These awards recognise the brightest and best companies and entrepreneurs in Devon and Cornwall. Because of the pandemic, it’s been two years since the last awards event – where SunGift scooped the Best Tech/Creative Business award!

This time round, SunGift is a finalist in both the Environmental and SME of the Year categories.

The Environmental category recognises outstanding performance in environmental responsiveness and sustainable activity, a company that is working towards and sustainability goals and reflects a well-considered green approach.

The SME category acknowledges a profitable, growing business that has a positive impact on the region’s economy, taking into consideration long-term plans, development of products and services, and staff training.

Director Gabriel Wandrausch says, “This is such positive news for SunGift. Although the last 16 months have tested us like never before, the situation has also made us even stronger as a business.

“We’ve continued to provide high quality, innovative renewable energy solutions for a range of clients, from large commercial roof installations to smaller residential projects. We have also added even more excellent and talented people to the team, bringing our workforce number to 30. With lots of projects ongoing and in the pipeline, we’re looking forward to another busy year ahead!”

The winners will be announced at the awards event on December 2nd. Good luck to everyone.
