This weekend (Saturday 21 September) we’re at the Alternative Energy Vehicle Show in Sidmouth, where we’ll be once again showcasing our solar van (which is essentially a mobile power station).
The event, which takes place at Sidmouth Cricket Club from 11am onwards, runs alongside Sidmouth Classic Car Show, and SunGift will be demonstrating

The Alternative Vehicle Show is just one more in a number of events that we’ve been attending lately. Last weekend we were exhibiting again at the Self-Build and Design Show at Westpoint in Exeter.
The show – which was aimed at ‘ordinary people looking to build the house of their dreams’ – showed them you how to go about it, from finding a plot and designing the layout to getting a mortgage and choosing the products that will go into the build. We’ve been involved in many new-build projects – integrating renewable energy systems into architect’s designs from the very start, so we know how beneficial a show like this is.
