Another one of our installations that’s been grabbing the press headlines recently is the work that we did for Exeter City Council in March. 

Earlier this week the panels that we installed at the council’s Civic Centre, Oakwood House offices, Materials Reclamation Facility and the ARK (the Museum’s storage facility) were hailed in the Exeter Express and Echo forgenerating more energy in the first eight months than we predicted they would generate in a year.

As a result, the council’s energy costs have been reduced significantly and it has already reducedits carbon emissions by 53 tonnes.

Cllr Keith Owen, Lead Councillor for Environment, Health and Wellbeing, said: “In these challenging financial times, the City Council has to look at ways of making savings as well as being environmentally responsible.
