Domestic

Unfortunately there are no longer any renewable energy grants available from the Low Carbon Buildings Programme.


Public and Charitable Sectors

Public and Charitable sector organisations are eligible for Low Carbon Buildings Programme Phase II funding of up to 50% of the total installation costs. These grants are for projects of up to £1 million and are granted on a first come first served basis.


Businesses

Currently Renewable Energy For Devon (RE4D) can support small and medium sized enterprises in South Hams, West Devon, Torridge, North Devon, Mid Devon, Teignbridge, Exeter and East Devon.

The following grants are available:

  • Solar Thermal: Up to 15% of the total cost of the installation
  • Wind, Heat Pumps, Solar PV: Up to 20% of the total cost of the installation
  • Biomass installations: Up to 25% of the total cost of the installation

    There is a maximum of £30,000 available per installation. You may be eligible for grant funding from other sources.
