When we were looking for a new warehouse technician, finding someone with a high level of technical competency was a very important consideration. We wanted someone that immediately understood what parts to look for, could liaise with our installation teams on a highly technical level, and could give advice to customers on what parts will work best in particular circumstance.

Enter Dan Crowther.

Dan isn’t new to SunGift.  He’s been working as a key member of our solar PV installation team, so he knows our systems inside out and he has the technical expertise to make things run extremely smoothly.

“Having knowledge of how solar PV systems work and speaking to our technical experts on the same level dramatically improves the speed and efficiency of our operations,” said Dan.  “It means I can interact between the design team and the installation team, pick the right parts for the job, and keep the supply side of slings moving extremely slickly.”

A qualified mechanic, when Dan’s not driving a forklift and giving technical advice, he can be found spending his spare time on mechanical projects.  He’s currently transforming a 1990 Honda Civic into a formidable track car and has ambitions to put it through its paces at the Nürburgring in Germany.
